I am a tutor who has worked with students from a variety of grade levels and in a multitude of subjects. History is what I specialize tutoring, but I can also help students with their writing, literature, anthropology, reading, social studies, and more. I'm available for test prep and I can help students with their college essays or essay editing. I earned my degrees from the University of Central Florida in History and Sociology. I went on to receive my Juris Doctor at Florida A&M University College of Law. I've been tutoring students since I went to high school, and I've always loved doing it. I've worked with kids in middle school up through graduate school. My tutoring philosophy is that eventually I shouldn't be needed anymore! If I'm a successful tutor then my students should be learning and becoming independent. I believe that helping students build a learning foundation and a learning skill set will lead them to be more successful in the future and in less need of assistance. I truly care about helping the students that I work with. I won't give up on them. In my free time I like walking on the beach, traveling around, reading books, and playing some music.
